Provide Brigade level subject matter
expertise in the sustainment and maintenance of aviation electronics and
communications systems for the 82nd
Airborne Division rotary wing fleet. Establish and enforce electronic
maintenance policies and procedures. Provide communications systems
sustainment and operations expertise for: FM, SATCOM, and HF radio systems.

Provided C&E
maintenance management for the Brigades C4ISR assets: WIN-T, Blue Force
Tracker, RF communication sets, imaging systems, and automations equipment.
Developed a Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) asset tracking systems to
increase the oversight, accountability, and logistical support for non
standard electronics equipment resulting in a substantial increase in network
availability and reliability during OIF 5. Provided logistical support and
management of IP based LAN/WAN equipment such as Cisco routers and switches,
firewalls, HAIPE encryption devices, as well as various modems and media
converters. Tasked with developing the pilot C4ISR Reintegration project for
CECOM at Fort Stewart GA. Effort lead to the complete installation and
validation of 454 vehicle and combat system platforms RF communication
systems, setting the standard for future reintegration efforts Army wide.
Created WIN-T technical
inspection and power distribution program that decreased scheduled NIPR/SIPR
network outage time by 12 hours per week. Technical inspection program
required travel throughout the Iraqi theater identifying faulty operational
and maintenance practices. Effort lead to 12% increase in equipment
availability.
Created sustainment
program to include Command Post of the Future (CPOF) and other tactical
command and control systems throughout the organization. Developed RF Line of
Sight (LOS) maintenance program to repair and maintain critical back bone
equipment for CPOF primary link, resulting in greater availability during
mission critical timelines.
Coordinated the effort to
induct Brigade’s C4ISR assets, spread throughout Iraq, into the CECOM Reset
process. Formal inspection teams were formed and dispatched to ensure proper
documentation and transportation of equipment and to assist in the induction
process. Resulted in 100% equipment turn in ahead of schedule.
